You will be well advised to rent for a couple of months before deciding on exactly where you want to live. Get to know with your new area is better than rushing into a purchase you may deeply regret later.
You may have the financial resources for your purchase today. But are you sure you will be able to pay the monthly payment of your mortgage tomorrow? If you are still uncertain about your job, don’t buy now. But if you can have an accurate picture of what your next few years will be like, that will be the time to buy.
